We cater the Cockaboose differently each week.
They had one for sale on zillow about a year and a half ago I think? Those things are damn nice.
$200k for it. I told the wife I wanted to buy it. She was not amused.

Get a plastic table cloth, spread it out over the table and pour the whole lot of Lowcountry Boil onto it and go to town.
If we have no blue crab we just improvise with lots and lots of shrimp.

You are better without crabs, FWIW.

I personally like Bojangles. A box of fried chicken and a cooler of cold beer is a fine tailgate.
Depending on what side of town you are coming in from, Athens has both a Popeyes and a Bojangles.
So much less hassle.

Columbia tailgating is neat because HD antennas work well enough to have tv’s. The towers are right down the street. In Athens, the ATL towers are too far away to be practical in a tailgate setting.

I really do want to do a Rant party on the Cockaboose but we can't do it during football season as we are already too packed for games.
Anyways, we'll figure it out and find a way to trickle-some-in during the season, different games maybe.
Someone mentioned Frogmore Stew. We have done Frogmore Stew a couple of times over the past few years. The problem with Frogmore Stew is that we get some cherry picking guests, especially if we have yankees in for whatever reason ... and they want to pick-out all the shrimp. Will literally stand there when we dump the pots up top and pick out all the shrimp.
Those are the kind of things you run into trying to feed a large group every weekend ... so portion control is part of thr plan.

We'll stand as incognito as we can outside of your guests and you can toss the shrimp to us.

What is your go to tailgate food?
BBQ (ribs, pork shoulder, chicken)
Jambalaya
duck/dove poppers
I'll also try to do specific foods for the team we're playing. for instance, gator for the Florida game, both grilled and fried
