All time ya gotta go with Fran Tarkenton if he counts
Well

I said "even a better option". I didn't imply Cam Newton would be the QB. Just said it would be Newton before deshaun....

QB- Tough one, I guess pitchin’ Paul Christman

RB- Ezekiel Elliot (would have been Tony Van Zant if not for injury

I still gotta go with Chase Daniel. The guy could read a defense better than anyone. RB - I go with James Wilder, but to you point, Van Zant would have been amazing. Totally on board with Maclin.

Put Earl Campbell in place of Dickerson

Why? Dickerson put up more than 4,000 rushing yards and his 6 year stretch from '83 to '88 was the greatest in NFL history.

To get some talking points going

Bart Starr won 5 NFL championships (1961, 1962, 1965–1967); 2 Superbowl championships(1966 & 67) 2x Superbowl MVP; 1966 NFL MVP; 1st-team All-Pro (1966); 3× 2nd-team All-Pro; 4x pro bowl; NFL Pro Football HOF.

Stabler is a 1977 Superbowl champion; the 1974 NFL MVP; and the 1974 AP Offensive PoY; 1x 1st-team All-Pro (1974); 1x 2nd team All-Pro (1976); 4x pro bowl; NFL pro Football HOF.

Rivers won the 2013 Comeback Player of the year, 1x 1st team All-Pro; 1x 2nd team All-Pro, and 8 pro bowls.

Until Rivers wins a championship, I'll go with Starr & Stabler as the state of Alabama's all time QB.

Green is from SC. Charlie Ward deserves a mention but Tarkenton is hard to argue given his NFL success.

For state of KS-Barry Sanders

My state-Oklahoma:
QB-was thinking Troy Aikman but he was actually born in Cali. Maybe Sam Bradford
WR-Steve Largent
still contemplating RB but Steve Owens is among the best
