Tarkenton was born in Virginia.

I know he went to high school in athens, but the thread sounded like sons from birth.

Good find

I thought of Sharpe as well. But megatron is the better pick at WR.

Stabler/Starr
Bo
TO/Julio

As far as Rivers, he is a very good QB, but he's from a time when QBs are protected more. Back in Starr's & Stabler's time, you could take them out without being fined or thrown out of the game. & Rivers hasn't won a championship.

For Texas I'm going with

QB: Sammy Baugh
RB: Eric Dickerson
WR: Tim Brown (Grew up in Dallas, if that counts)

No Drew Brees?

Put Earl Campbell in place of Dickerson

I can't stand TCU, but Sammy Baugh was badass. Dude put Texas football on the map, was an All-American twice and won the NFL Championship twice. Also was a Defensive End and Punter.

When Brees wins his next Superbowl then we'll discuss him.
