What is the root cause of Texas A&M’s problems?

0No troll, I am genuinely curious. They certainly seemed ready to make the jump yo the big boy table awhile back. What is holding them back?

Paying their recruits a bunch of money to play football doesn’t make them want to be a part of the team. They put the cart before the horse in their recruiting tactics. Also,

A&M is Texas's version of the Island of Misfit Toys. Anybody worth a damn is going to go to UT. Aggies have just always been a little bit off.

Texas has THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. It’s something in the water in Texas that make the men their think they are bigger and badder than they really are and they all get this huge overinflated ego. It’s what happens when people get wealthy without actually ever having to work for any of it.

The coach and players are bought and paid for and they give minimal effort. They just take the money and give as little effort as possible.
