Does Ole Miss have better quality of players than SMU? How about Indiana? Your school went all in and still lost to Kentucky and LSU. Do you have better quality of players this year than Kentucky? LSU? We probably have one of the worst secondary’s in the SEC and your all world offense and offensive phenom coach couldn’t get it done. You 3 schools have nothing to complain about. Be better!

What a stupid argument.

Winning games is a stupid argument?

Clemson laid multiple eggs this year and they're in the playoff

Clemson simply got an opportunity from Syracuse beating Miami and they took advantage of it.

South Carolina had an opportunity at home against Ole Miss & LSU as well as on the road against Alabama, and didn’t take advantage of it.

It’s pretty simple.

Mississippi State played the #2 toughest schedule. You have to win too!

If I'm not mistaken wasn't the Arizona State Miss St game a close loss for Miss St?

Yes the worst team in the SEC played the Big12 champs to a 7 point loss.

Ward Manuel said strength of schedule is important.....then put in half a dozen teams who have beaten noone.

A. Actions speak louder than words

B. If all being equal (resumes) and it was between Michigan and SMU, bet Ward and the committee would be singing a different tune

What? Clemson and South Carolina both finished the regular season 9-3. South Carolina beat Clemson at Clemson. South Carolina has a more difficult strength of schedule than Clemson. And yet Clemson is in the playoff. That's pretty simple.

You need to win, period.

You are on here melting about strength of schedule but at the end of the day you have to win your games.

Teams in lesser conferences with more wins are gonna get in over 3 loss SEC teams……because they have wins.

This was easy to see when they expanded the playoff, sorry you are just seeing this.

The bigger the pool of teams they let in the harder on the SEC it will be.

Because others can’t have an opinion on the playoffs?

Pointing out how ludicrous you all sound after you lost to teams who went 5-11 in SEC play is fair game for anyone. Alabama lost to two teams most of the league beat.

SEC would have done better adding Wake Forest and South Florida instead of Texas and Oklahoma if this is the playoff criteria.

It’s quite simple. You can’t hope for a miracle SEC SOS argument to bail you out of bad losses.

But you can damn sure use SOS to help you get in playoffs.

You called South Carolina losing to Ole Miss a bad loss to a top 15 team?

For Ole Miss, I'm not sure. Having never been to the SECCG is impressive at this point.

SOS is great but you have to WIN. And not have any questionable losses.

Which is much easier to do in weak conferences. Thanks for reiterating my point.

Winning against shitty teams won’t get you ready for a championship run.

It’s pretty much exactly the same in the NFL.

Meaning some NFL divisions are tougher than others, that’s just the way it is.

Quit whining.

It’s very simple. Clemson took advantage of their opportunity and South Carolina did not. Clemson won 10 games again. South Carolina did not.

You have no idea what it’s like to be in our position. The fans who are defending the dog shite system I’ve seen in this thread are Arkansas A&M and several LSU fans. All teams that didn’t sniff the playoffs.
