I'm wondering where all this hate from Missouri is coming from. I don't really think about Missouri all that much so I had to google LSU Missouri football history. Well the results were not so surprising considering all the salt I'm seeing.

quote:

First matchup: LSU won 20-15 on December 23, 1978
Most recent matchup: LSU won 49-39 on October 7, 2023
Overall record: LSU leads Missouri 18-3 since the series began in 1986
2022 series: LSU swept three games from Missouri in Baton Rouge from April 21-23, 2022

Where is Missouri? Can you show me? Oh. It's Up North. I'll show you.

No one in the group knew of any LSU team colors, so finding a large supply of Mardi Gras ribbons at a local store, they bought out the stock.

You gotta love bargain basement stories like that! Too funny !

The American Heritage Dictionary defines the color metallic gold as "A light olive-brown to dark yellow, or a moderate, strong to vivid yellow."

What is the history of UGA’s “red and black”

It’s the most boring and overused color combo in all of sports

Also, the most commonly used mascot in college in the United States is a bulldog

And they stole their G from the packers

And their song is "I've been working on the railroad"

#unoriginal

How childish to lash out with anger during a "yellow and blue" discussion.

Date

Season Score
October 7, 2023 2023 L 39 - 49
October 10, 2020 2020 W 45 - 41
October 1, 2016 2016 L 7 - 42
December 23, 1978 1978 W 20 - 15

So .500 ?

Oh its certainly yellow and cheap blue.

My guess is that the uniforms must cost less like like that. Clearance rack kinda deal.

You it doesn't really matter what poll or who is conducting it. Anytime their is a list of the top 5 best uniforms in college sports LSU is always in there. Now where in the top 5 varies but they are always there. I don't recall seeing Missouri anywhere.

Thread was about the history of LSU's blue & yellow.

I'm pretty certain I know where the yellow comes from..... Canada!

It was named fighting tigers after the most feared Rebel group of fighters in the service of the free states in the war of Nothern Agression. I think the colors were those of the unit or something but not about that

To be fair he also beat the shite out of LSU regularly. Which was probably easier than the wife really.
