First tell us the biggest FBS win of Nick Saban, Les Miles and Ed Orgeron before they became the HC at LSU.
Each of whom definitely had twenty+ year careers to compare against

Murph made an excellent argument earlier for BK succeeding at LSU when he posted the players in the NFL by college numbers
Every good point he’s made he fricks up by arguing against his own post shortly thereafter. It’s been fascinating to watch honestly

I’m sensing some frustration.
It'll make Texas A&M's 12th Man Fairy Tale seem like they were the 85 Bears.

It actually is a good argument.
Notre Dame averaged somewhere around the #10 recruiting class under Kelly but was #5 at putting players in the NFL.
He's excellent at developing players, though few of them were elite skill players.
He will have no excuse to not succeed because of that at LSU.

It really hasn’t grown at all. Like I said. When you recycle the same shitposting arguments, you’re going to see the same recycled responses. They aren’t going to change and haven’t changed. Again, it isn’t difficult to grasp
The number of scholarship players at the time he was hired was 39. That is still the number being cited. You hearing the number over and over again doesn’t mean the myth has grown. It means this board can’t come up with new and original material

Anyway, everyone knows the true reason Kelly will fail at LSU is because he turned his back on God.
Baton Rouge may be a Catholic name, but it ain't New Orleans. It's mostly English.

The best predictor of future performance is past performance. Brian Kelly shits the bed in big games. We have a large sample size. Maybe he will do great at LSU though.

Considering Notre Dame's stringent academic standards for incoming athletes, and what they were before he arrived, the way Brian Kelly turned them around, and made them a consistent winner was nothing short of incredible. Stellar coaching job!
Saban said it best. "LSU has always had the athletes. Now they have a coach."

There's two variables in that, and both speak well to BK in that regard.
But his record vs. talented teams isn't great.

Oh yeah damn look at the twenty+ years of head coaching he had. Great point!

He usually loses to the #1 national champion, just like everyone else.
In most cases, they were quite a bit more talented than his teams.
He should be able to close that gap a bit at LSU.

Would you rather Orgeron or Kelly be UFs head coach?

I want to hear Kelly's Florida accent.
