Auburn has a good team. Was impressed with them Saturday. Think y’all have a really good chance to beat Georgia.

No. You will be an underdog to aTm and Auburn too.

If we go into the A&M game 3-0, we won't be an underdog to aggie. The game is in Starkville. We should never be an underdog to aggie anyway.

A lot is gonna happen before the Auburn game so it's foolish to talk spreads for that game right now.

I seriously doubt we are an underdog to A&M. Possibly Auburn. Both games at home and will be a very tight spread. If I could get us straight up against A&M right now I would take it.

I like State and hope they do well but giving up 34 to LSU is bad news for them with any team that is balanced on both sides of the ball. I say 6-4 this year but will get better in the future if Leach gets some defensive studs committed.

I saw where on the SEC Network they said State was projected to win about 3 games prior to Leach, now they see much more Cowbell. They stated only 1 game probably isn't win able. Funny thing, looking at his resume, that may be the one they do win. I don't think they win them all, don't even know if they will be that much above 500, but if you look closely at this dude, he's capable of not just winning every week, but beating the living shite out of any team at any time - even after trailing big.

Yes. Mullen was good for State but he had a lot of 8-4 teams that were right at .500 in league play. 2014 is the only time it's happened since Sherrill did it in '98 and '99.

State’s defense gave up 27. LSU scored on a pick 6 and scored 17 points total on turnovers on the plus side of the 50, but don’t let facts get in the way.

Maybe 8-2. Saban will shut that bullshite down. Auburn has two weeks to prep for Leach.

It really depends on if UGA can get its act together.

How come he hasn’t won any conference championships? Because he coached at Texas Tech and Washington State. The same reason your national championship coach got fired at Ole Miss.there are different ceilings at different programs. Let me know when someone else wins one at either school.

I hope he does well at MState. I also like MState. But are you insinuating that MSTate has a richer history than Texas Tech and Washington State?

Leach has always been Boom or bust it seems. I think they will lose one game that they really shouldn't. I'm going 7-3.

No. I’m just stating that him not winning a conference championship at those 2 places doesn’t invalidate his offense or his head coaching ability.
That being said, State is a better program than either one of those schools in 2020.

You think 4 turnovers including a pick 6 is peaking?

Mississippi State played some really ugly ball at times.

The Air Raid is a system that gets refined and improved with repetition. So I'd expect better execution, not worse, from here on out.

That doesn't mean that I think they'll throw 600+ yards again, because I doubt any future DC just allows State to torch them by playing man the whole time.

The Moo State moniker is confusing: are you talking about Auburn, Miss St, or ATM?

Ceiling this year, I'd say 5-7 wins.... Going forward, 7-8 wins should be there. A 10 or more win season every few years.

True.

Washington State went 11-2 in 2018. They've actually had some pretty good teams, while Leach was there. I get the argument that MState probably has better talent
than they have/had, but MState will also be going against better talent than they did.

It will be interesting to watch, that's for sure, and I dread facing you guys this year. I was kind of hoping it would take a year or two for him to get that offense going.
