I had a bumper sticker that read...honk if you sacked JPW! Good times.

Bama fans:

Who was the more talented QB? JPW or McElroy?

Obviously McElroy had the better supporting cast

JPW, and it wasn't saying much.

McElroy was replaced at QB against SC for Mark Ingram in 2009. He also threw for a whopping 56 yards in the national title game.

He was a game manager at best, and a liability at worst. If we got down with McElroy, it was a tough road to hoe.

Yeah, I remember JPW having some monstrous games in winning efforts against good competition like when he threw over 360 yards against a Tennessee team that won the SEC East back in 2007. Or when he threw four TDs and over 300 yards against a good Arkansas team. He would have put up much better numbers if he had gotten the supporting cast McElroy had.

JPW and his dad visited my son and is when my son was in the hospital. It was his bye week. They stayed for hours. That meant a lot to us and my son. Much respect for him.

You should have seen the nurses around him. Even the nurses who were Auburn fans were preening for him!

He was mobile, too.
