What is "Elite Speed" and Does Amari Cooper Have It?

What do you guys think is elite speed for a WR? Obviously speed isn't the only factor when talking about good WR's. But speed is what we're discussing here.
For reference, Cooper was recently clocked in the 4.3's.
What do you think Rickdaddy? I mean, other than this, Because he doesn't have elite speed. He has decent speed but he doesn't run low 4.4's.
And, no, this isn't a FAP-over-Bama's-player thread. This is a I-told-you-so thread where I point out how Rickdaddy argued and lost.

Damn, already? Just for being wrong about Cooper not having elite speed?

Under 4.4 is like flying. Feet aren't touching the ground long enough to see it.

Amari does not have elite speed.

But who does, right?
Also, enjoy banland with Rick.

I think he's actually quicker than he is fast

Combined with his size and great hands, is ideal. I've seen a lot of SEC WR's who had blazing speed but weren't good WR's.

He has a second gear. re: TD versus UGA. Coop can go get an overthrow, even Julio struggled with that.

I think that's what Rick thought too. Coop is deceptively fast though.

Whoa playa. Rick's got some permanent real estate in your noggin.

what are we talking about here?... elite as it translates to the NFL, or elite for a college WR?
for college, not doubt.... not sure how he'll translate to the next level though.

We're talking about just speed. What is elite?

Amari Cooper does not have elite speed.

He's not a sub 4.4 guy. If he was timed anywhere else other than Bama's pro day, his 40 time would be >4.4 seconds. I doubt he runs sub 4.4 at the combine next year.

Damn. Hey, we get it, only LSU players are elite.
