Sans UGA/Bama on our schedule, Harsin has built a better roster going into this season than everyone else we play. It is a critical season for his coaching ability, but the talent is there for 8-10 wins.

Does Auburn have the talent on the oline to get to 8-10 wins? Been a weakness for a while, and recruiting on the oline has sucked.

I'm not so sure.

Yawn

Trying to rile up a fanbase that is very much "wait and see" is a tall task, hence the 3 win prediction. Best of luck.

Not one five star recruit in the last 3 years and sitting last in the SEC for 2023 recruiting with five commits. Not a single player in the Top ten in Alabama even looking in Auburn's direction. After losing Hudson, the remaining returning WRs have 487 combined career receiving yards. The running back who scored the game winner in the 2019 Iron Bowl is headed to Indiana.

Yes, things are looking bright on the Plains.

Four sentences and one involved Bama? All?

Shivers was badly underutilized last year.

Yeah I wish we had kept Shivers instead of Tank....because he scored a TD in the Iron Bowl.

Less concern and more wonder. Is it worth the extra money for Harsin to sit through a year or two of misery? Will it hurt his coaching future while he holds out for a proper buyout from the MORONS who put a stake in the heart of Auburn football by trying to push him out.

That play was fun to watch. Shivers has very deceptive power, especially for his small size.

I am talking about Harsin staying in a job with a school whose boosters tried to push him out. What does that have to do with the inner workings of the AD?

Most top schools have multiple talented running backs these days. Sorry y'all did not get the memo.

Ok, how much would you like to wager on your 3 win prediction?

Man, a lot of y'all are going to be real upset when Auburn football doesn't suck this fall. Y'all are really putting a lot of eggs in that basket

I would not wager on it. They probably will get an upset or two. But I would bet large on the under on their Vegas win total of 5.5-6.5.

I think Harsin is a solid football coach who, if given time, will have a much more consistent program than his predecessor. However, I do not think he is going to recruit well enough to have surprise seasons where they are a top 5/10 team like Gus did. And Auburn won't accept consistently going 7-5/8-4/9-3 with fringe top 25 recruiting classes.

I know standards are low at the barn, so curious what your definition of "not sucking" will be.
