LSU wins out, or Auburn wins out. But loses in the SEC championship to what would probably be Tennersmee.
Does a one loss Tide team get in?

The selection process has been trying to leave the SEC out of the hunt for years.....your scenario would be a way to make that happen.
I'd say no SEC teams get in at that point.

Bama might get in as a 1 loss even if AU or LSU win out including the SECCG.

Is it wrong that I hope we lose just so this happens?

As with any of the other multiple scenarios involving teams with a loss which have been discussed ad infinitum...it all depends on the other teams in contention and their records.

The precedent is certainly there.

It is very unlikely, but possible. I think a one loss Alabama would go ahead of a two loss Oklahoma if they won the Big 12, if it came down to one of the two.

Thanks Farmer. I thought the OP was trying to use some of that "Common Core" math!

This is how it would look:
UT: 11-2 (SEC champ, 2 SEC losses)
LSU: 9-2 (1 SEC loss, played top10 BIG team, beat both of UT's losses, non-P5 game cancelled)
AU: 11-2 (LSUs only SEC loss)
UA: 10-2 (talent on paper, Saban)
A&M: 10-2 (still 10-2, beat SEC east and west champs)
^ what a shite show
I think the argument is between LSU and UT, with UT getting in as Conf champs. Even though the eyeball test could favor LSU.
LSU would have 1 Conf loss to UTs 2, with wins over both UT losses. Not to mention not losing since September and coaching shakeup. Only having 9 wins would hurt though.
Does LSU deserve to be left out because they scheduled at top 10 road non conf game?

Were you dropped on your head as a child? They want a SEC team in every year. Just like they will want a Big Ten team in every year. Have to get those viewers.
