Have we thought about that?

He's still undefeated at LSU so far

Bye bye Pete Golding

Lane has the team prepared for Tulane and beyond. The verdict on Golding will be made over the next couple of seasons.

I never think about Lane until I open this board and there are 8 threads about him on Page 1.

You would think all of those threads would be created by LSU fans.

When is the last time Ole Miss looked better than they have in the last six years? In the early 60s?

When they cheated under freeze.

You’re gonna have to deal without Lane‘s superpower, seeing the 22 people on the field better than anybody. At least that’s what my sister (who went to Ole Miss) told me, he sees the game in slow motion. Good luck with that and Pete Golding.

Kiffin went 7-6 in his one season at Tennessee. They were a 2 point loss in Baton Rouge away from matching that the following season. Of course, his 7-6 season was also the last season they had above .500 until Butch jones matched it 5 seasons later.
How have teams done after he left (following coach's record)?
Oakland Raiders - Tom Cable - 17-27 (38.64%), Kiffin was 5-15 (25.0%) - Result was increase by 13.6%
Tennessee - Derek Dooley - 15-29 (34.04% ); Kiffin was 7-6 (53.85%) - Result was drop by ~ 20%
USC - Steve Sarkisian - 12-6 (66.66%); Kiffin was 28-15 (65.12%) - Result was increase by around 1.5%
FAU - Willie Taggart - 15-18 (45.45%); Kiffin was 26-13 (66.66%) - Result was drop by ~21%

They’re going to beat the shite out of Tulane. Worse than 45-7. I’ll be shocked if they end the game within 10 of us.
Ho hum

Of course they’ll run the score up to look good then get absolutely slaughtered the next game. It’s what the runts do and they’ll be talking big after this weekend.
