No SEC champ. appearance

Would be a problem but I think this game is going away eventually

1 Playoff appearance

This would be low. I’d hope for 2-3

No conference championship

It would be a bummer but quite a few teams win it all and didn’t win their conference

No National championships

Again, a bummer, but with CFB winning a title is hard. Indiana proved you can do it in short order. Oregon is constantly a top recruiting school and has zero titles.

It is cyclical. Kiffin is the new God for LSU. Until he is the new devil. I’ve never met a more bipolar group of fans. But then again it is Louisiana

You may be one of the biggest idiots on this board….which puts you in the running for biggest idiot proper

Kiffin was fired from USC. He already lost his dream job once for sucking. The pattern has already been established. Your group of psycho fans might actually kill him instead of leave him on the tarmac

We just fire coaches unceremoniously thank you. Other teams follow them to the airport and do ex gf shite. What we don’t do is hang on to them for far too long when it obvious how terrible they are.

Do you know Any TeaM that does that?

LSU fans on this board could be a case study for bipolar disorder. You need to learn moderation. Kiffin is not God. He’s also not the devil. Like everyone else, he is somewhere in between.

Like I said, fascinating

As an LSU fan NO we won't be happy if it plays out that way! However IMO Lane had to spend the first 2yrs, if not 3, trying to convince top recruits & transfers to go to Ole Miss, which had absolutely no modern day success to entice them to do so. But here at LSU he will be able to hit the ground running pointing to the 2019 team & those WRs, QB etc to show them what they can accomplish here and use as a springboard to the NFL. So I don't think the 2 are even remotely comparable. Could I be wrong sure & if I am & it plays out like you suggest it will get ugly fast here for him. But when he takes BTA to the SEC & the rest of College Football don't say we didn't tell you!

Nice rebuttal. Pretty embarrassing to get dunked on by someone who is your intellectual junior. I assume that’s why you deflect.

Here’s a response on your level.
Your mom knows I am. She’s sharing nudes with me right now.

Lsu has 3 recent championships. If we get more it’s just gravy. Do you ever wonder what it’s like?

I mean it could happen. But this type of opportunity in this day and age of "college" sports can't be overlooked. Hell he may be run out by year 3 if he stays that long. I think the overall expectation is he will make LSU competitive and playoff contenders.

comparing the ceilings and floors of LSU football and Ole Miss football is an absolute insult and not even a good faith conversation worth having. Just dumb.

I know most tigger fans just ASSume he will do better there but what if he reached his ceiling? I mean he did no better at USC which is obviously more blue blooded than LoSerU especially at the time he took over

To be fair, USC had sanctions against them left by pete Carroll and the Reggie Bush saga. Time will tell but at least we don't the have grinding Brian anymore.

There is no doubt Kiffin will need to be a different coach than he has been in the past to meet the expectations of LSU fans.
