I know, I know. But if they did, would the SEC lose all street cred? I mean that would be 2 years in a row Clemson would have beaten the absolute best team in the conference.

If Clemson wins they have established a dynasty and are better than anybody else in the country without a doubt

I mean Auburn, Georgia, Florida, and Mac Jones led Alabama could all beat the best team from the BIG 12.
And I’m fairly sure all 4 could give OSU a good game.

The idea that because their regular season is a joke that it is guaranteed they will beat 2 separate Top 4 teams in the playoff is stupid.

For one, their regular season hasn't been a joke every year. That was somewhat true in 2018 and very true in 2019. It was not true in 2016 or 2017. They had 3 Top 20 wins in 2016 leading into the playoff. They had 4 Top 25 wins in 2017 leading into the playoff.
Also, they won these games to win the national title in 2016, 2018, 2019 (if they win)
#2 Ohio State (31-0)
#1 Alabama (35-31)
#3 Notre Dame (30-3)
#1 Alabama (44-16)
#2 Ohio State (29-23)
#1 LSU (TBD)
But yea, sure, it's a fraud or something. Has nothing to do with your supreme jealousy as a Georgia fan.
By the way, find me a program with more wins vs Top 4 teams than the ones noted above the last 5 years. With all the super hard schedules I'm sure there must be one, right? How many does Georgia have?

It's the 2 that matter, like it or not.
What sucks is that their success with their easy schedule argues against teams making tougher schedules and being in tougher conferences. Why worry about SoS when the only thing that matters is record?
But that's another discussion and they are the national champions either way.

Then they deserve all of the credit in the world. They are a good team and just need to take care of business. They need to stop whining about people not respecting them. Winning takes care of respect.
