Yep, if A&M wins they can basically pick who they want to finish out their class. The fact that Texas appears to be going down the crapper in a big way simultaneously would make the timing even more ideal both short and long term from a recruiting perspective.
LSU fans though really have the ideal situation this weekend. If Bama wins, they get to pile on Aggies endlessly. Their sense of right and wrong will be restored and they can feel as though it is back to just them and Bama again. If A&M wins they get the joy and satisfaction of watching Bama cry and Saban lose while still screaming "scoreboard" at Aggies and showing the gif of the guy putting his arse on JFF's face for the next couple months.
It's just a win/win for them.

Bama only rushed for 122 last year, with our vaunted O line, at home. You can spin that any way you want, but after seeing our performance against VT, I'm not hopeful that we'll do much better this season.

I agree with most of that. LSU fans hate Saban, and we have grown tired of aggy fans fairly quickly. I don't know any LSU fans who are actively pulling for either team.

Thats what I'd suspect. Its like when Auburn and Tennessee play...no matter which one loses, I'm happy.

I'm not worried - but not because "I know" we'll win. I don't; as I've said before, it's football. Any team can beat any other team.
That said - I learned long ago not to stress over losses (thanks DuBose!) I'll probably go on here, post my congrats to A&M, wish them bad luck for the rest of the season (not out of malice, but for a shot at the SECCG), and avoid the obvious trolls in favor of the well-reasoned A&M fans. SECr makes me laugh too often to give it up.
Oh, and we all know LSUfreek spends a LOT more time on Alabama losses (even if they're not to LSU) than Alabama wins. So we can expect a more entertaining gif this year if A&M wins.

A&M is going to beat us. JFF will pick us apart like he did last year and our offense won't put up enough points.

...and Rice rushed for 300 yards on TAMU. It is going to be a wild shootout. TAMU will force Bama to beat them in the air.

Who do you hang out with? Most Bama fans I know are confident, but not unaware of the possibility of an A&M win. The Aggies are certainly capable of winning the game and most Bama fans are concerned about that possibility.
That said, when you have a 62-7 record the past 5+ years with 3 national titles I don't think it is unrealistic to go into games with a certain amount of confidence.

If A&M wins Alabama fans wake up the next day. No one wins 3 championships in a row. 2 is for the rare dynasty. I have this weird feeling that we can't win 3 in a row. A&M is a good football team, but I'm sure all the other fans will act like King Kong and Superman has fallen from the throne. Most reasonable Alabama fans understand that losing is inevitable. Everyone has this assumption that Bama fans feel their team is the best at every position and can't be beat, but it is far from the truth.
Plus this season is worth always if we beat LSU. A&M fans don't bitch yearly about why they are second place.

If Texas A&M wins and JFF carries the team on his back again TAM will prob go second in the SEC.
Not to mention JFF will prob contend for the Heisman again. And if he can keep putting up 350-400 yd games with atleast two or three touchdowns. He should win it again.
