What does Texas A&M have to do in Tampa to sneak into the NCAAT?

Right now they are basically the 7-8th team out on most brackets.

Beating Florida and then Auburn would probably be enough, right? Obviously that is a tall task, but winning those 2 would probably push them through I'd think (subject to bid thieveries).

If #s held and they beat those 2 then lost in the semis

- 21-12 (9-9)
- 13-2 vs Q3/Q4
- 8-10 vs Q1/Q2
- 4 Q1 wins

Beating Florida and Auburn SHOULD be enough but 3 wins will definitely do it.

Nah definitely not that. If they win 3 games they are in without a doubt (Florida, Auburn, Arkansas/LSU).

They need to blow everyone on earth who is involved in the selection process. So basically they are a lock.

Beat those two teams and they are probably in. Those are two really good wins to walk around with. Beat Florida and they have to pray.

Lose to Florid and you can start writing your ticket to the NIT barring the selection committee has a complete brain fart.

A&M's NCAAT, in essence, starts with their first game of the SEC tourney. They need to start winning right now.

Beat Florida & Auburn and we're in. Short of that, we're out.

It started a few games ago.

We were basically left for dead after losing @ Vandy in mid Feb. Our NET was >70 and RPI >100. Then we beat Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama, & Mississippi St. Run the streak up to 6 and we should be in easily.

Also depends on what everyone else does. Hope there aren't bid stealers in the other conference tournaments. You dodged one when Murray State barely beat Morehead State. Hope others barely in lose. Then win at least two games.

I can not see a path to the NCAAT without winning the SECT. Perhaps the slimmest of hope exists with a runnerup in the conference tournament and few upset in the other leagues but even then I doubt it.

Agree, seems pretty cut and dry

Florida is probably a little more messy. If they beat you guys then lose to Auburn they'll be sweating it out.
