I know the star LT stays, but does Bama lose all others? And, who are waiting in the wings?

Kuouindjakdoaijo and Steen stay for sure. Jones and Warmack are gone and Fluker is probably gone.

Couldn't tell you who will start next year.

We're definitely losing Jones and Warmack. They're seniors and don't have any eligibility left. Fluker is the wildcard but, given his sometimes inconsistent play this year, he may return for his senior year.

If that happens, then we return three of our five starting offensive linemen next year - including both starting tackles.

Warmack, Jones and probably Fluker are all gone. There will be a drop-off for sure.

That leaves Kouandjio at LT and Steen at either G spot.

There'll probably be a drop off, but I doubt it will be huge. We are pretty consistent on the Oline year in and year out these days.

LT Cyrus Kouandijo
LG Arie Kouandijo
C Ryan Kelly
RG Anthony Steen
RT DJ Fluker or Austin Shepherd

Sorry, but this year's oline was special by even Bama standards.

LT - Cyrus K
LG - Arie K
C - Chad Lindsay
RG - Anthony Steen
RT - Leon Brown

Warmack, Jones and Fluker gone for sure. Steen may also elect to go to NFL.

I still think 2008 was the best line we've had since Saban's been here. Our passing game was virtually nonexistent, even with Julio Jones, and that line opened up holes that even I could run through.

Well, that would suck. I agree that Steen could be a surprise and go, but I don't think it is likely.

They have their "special" moments, but IMO they've allowed more sacks than I care to see. I'm just knit picking I'm sure.

Next year will see a drop off in experience, knowledge and cohesiveness with the loss of Jones/Warmack and possibly Fluker.

I NEVER thought that both OL would
Control the LOS in last Saturdays game. Our OL will suffer next year unless Fluker stays and even then warmack and Jones are both so good we can't help but drop.

I'm with you there. Bama was an average team carried by Andre Smith and the offensive line that year. In the two games Andre Smith didn't play in, Bama got doubled up in yardage and didn't score an offensive TD against a 2-10 Tulane team and were dominated in the trenches by Utah. I doubt this year's offensive line could go 12-2 with that Bama team.

Agree. To say there's not gonna some sizable off is crazy.
I don't doubt that Alabama will still probably end up fielding one of the better O-lines in the SEC/CFB next year.

However, their line right now is as good as any line ever, at least in terms of talent/awards. It won't be nearly that good.

LSU's will be the best assuming Faulk comes back 100%
Faulk (Beast)
Collins (Beast)
Porter (Possible weak link. think he'll be fine though)
Turner (Exceptional fresh)
Alexander (see above)

I realize LSU is now ready to move on to next season, but can Alabama finish this one before we do so?
