Anyone bookmark the Rant glossary thread last year? I should've but didn't. At any rate, alter or no alter it's getting that time of year where noobies come on board and start threads about rant terms. A lexicon we can link them too would eliminate some of that.

But from what I can tell, an alter is someone who creates a fake profile on here, and posts something to glorify their University of choice. Or maybe they post something incredibly negative about their University but in a really stupid way in an attempt to make another fan base look bad.
Also, apparently an Ole Miss fan named Randy is known for doing this.
