Love the atmosphere at every SEC stadium except Missouri. Doesn't feel like a SEC stadium or atmosphere to me.

The stadiums, the tailgating, the women, the traditions, the enthusiasm and intensity, the weather, the passion.

It just means more.

One of the best things is the absence of Clemson and Oklahoma.

I find the culture of the Southeastern states more agreeable than any others, which translates to the fans, teams, and towns.

Went to AU but also went to Oregon State for a second degree and have traveled and seen a lot of other D1 campuses inbetween. I live for spectacle. In the south, particularly in the state of Alabama, there aren't a lot of spectacles that make you sit back and just go "holy sh*t" compared to the rest of the country. But college football down there makes everyone that sees it for the first time sit back and go, "holy sh*t."

When it was first announced that Arkansas would join the SEC, one of the top things for me was that we'd finally play in a conference that received media attention. Back then, the only media that cared about the SWC was in Texas and Arkansas. In contrast, the SEC received attention from all media on the east coast.

In hindsight, I'm not sure that's helped Arkansas any, but the media is now focused on the SEC more than ever.
