you realize our DL will be as good and deep next year as its ever been right?
Despite losing two starters to the NFL, your defensive line will be as good as it has ever been? Come the frick on Lat.

I realize you lose the best two players off of it.
I also realize Smith had a defense with senior leadership that were all good enough to be drafted. Day 3 guys, but still.
In short, we'll see but I highly doubt anyone fears The Arkansas defense.

Come on man everyone give Gus credit for 2010

If you can't see the difference in our defenses since Robb Smith arrived I can't help you.

Their defense will be solid, no doubt.

I've never given a coordinator credit for coaching a team to a national championship, and I can't imagine ever doing so.
Besides, I thought it was universally accepted that it was all Cam?

The nauseating smell of that damn mascot.

My only worry about Arkansas is that Bert might have a heart attack before we play and Arkansas could find a replacement capable of beating Malzahn. We already know Bert is not capable of getting the job done

I don't know about y'all, but there is only one answer to this question and it's not even close:

A&M might be looking ahead after 3 wins in a row.

Solid and fear inducing are two different things. Like I said, we'll see.
Their defense was good last year. What standouts are they returning? Their impact players just got drafted.

so did yours, you don't think your defense can be solid again?

This is a great question.

He's not saying y'all won't be solid, dipshit. He's saying your defense won't "induce fear in opponents."

E) Someone teaching Bert how to game coach.

Not all of them. Brantley is a top 2-3 DT in the league. Maybe the best. Scherer and Brothers are the top returning tacklers in the conference and Kenya Dennis is a top 5 corner. Ian Simon is a 3 year starter and solid. We return 7 starters as well.
I understand having confidence in guys who just haven't gotten the chance yet. I do as well with a few of our defenders. Until they do it though.
