If just the two of you fix what you are in the mood for. Fried shrimp. Baby back ribs. A salad. A Boston butt. Frog legs. Raw oysters. Burgers. Stuffed bacon wrapped jalapeños. 20 oz ribeyes. Fix her something sweet; a pie, cookies or brownies. Whatever you want.

For hosting? Smoked brisket. For just our crew? Cowboy queso.

I wake up at 5am hungover as hell. I put some little smokies/cocktail sausages in a pan and cook them in bbq sauce for an easy breakfast. After the morning GameDay shows I put tortilla chips in the oven with shredded cheese on top. If it's an early game I'll make some cheese dip. If it's a late game I'll make 2-3x more cheese dip. Depending on how I feel I'll either make hamburgers or bratwurst. I'll use the leftover cheese dip as extra toppings, along with chili or sauerkraut depending on what's left over. If I'm still hungry after that I'll get a pizza, but most of the pizza will be for the Sunday morning hangover breakfast.

Around $30-50

One’s an appetizer and the other’s a full-on meal with meat, beans, etc. Best served with a good margarita.

Velveeta and rotel and corn chips and buffalo wings with ranch as the dripping sauce, and some times pigs in a blanket.

Mixed? ie couples?
Kabobs. Simple, cheap, make you feel like you are eating healthier.

Butterfly chicken and grill it and have a vodka sauce, a white sauce (like an Alfredo), and a marinara sauce and a couple of different pastas. Let them create and try different combinations.

a pot sloppy joes

Cheap roast meat or sirloin cut into chunks and tenderized and some thinner cut chicken (I usually grill it or you can cook in a pan) some rice and noodles with colorful veggies and a mix of mango sauce, teriyaki, soy, pineapple sauce let them build their own dish.

None of those have a long cook time and sit well for grazers. Most of the ingredients are found cheaply and super easy to make. Nothing that puts picky eaters out of sorts.
