What do we think of CBS vs ESPN halfway through the season?

I think it has actually been a solid move. I like the premier game being on ABC at 6:30 versus 2:30 on CBS.

Hasn’t been bad

Still can’t believe Sankey agreed to add Oklahoma and UTrans for no more money

The new broadcasts don't appear to be showing as many replays, but more commercials.

I still think the production of CBS is much better, but I absolutely love the big time SEC game at night compared to 3:30.

Absolutely. More money, more games available for free on broadcast TV, better production... I do miss the old theme music though.

Production is fine and I love the 11am-2:30-6:30 trifecta with good games. And on top of that, no Gary Danielson. Good move.

The production of ABC is 4th behind the other networks.

I like the triple headers and the flex schedule.

But damn ABC sucks compared to the other networks at game production.

Camera quality weak, replays weak, etc etc

The positive of ESPN used to be they had way less commercials, but now I think they have more. The games are taking forever.

OT: How is it that the Indiana/Washington game the biggest in the country worthy of Gameday, but it was on the Big Ten Network. Seems like CBS has lost out terribly in this deal.

That 3 hour Indiana love fest was awful.

I think this used to be the case, but everyone has caught up with them in commercials. CBS, however, has much better production value than any other station.

It was a stupid decision to begin with. You had 2 of the top 4 in the SEC playing & chose that game. Hell, ND/Navy would have made more sense.
