I wouldn’t waste time reading that in line at HEB let alone actually paying for any of it. The local guys that cover the team know 100x what these nation magazine writers know. The SECN coverage is more knowledgeable too.

There is no way you believe that. Steele is flat out terrible when it comes to predictions.

Hey Rooster what ever happened to that guy?
Just spoke with him the other day. He was in the process of moving to Charleston but we’re going to have lunch when I get back from Michigan and Tennessee after the 4th. I’m actually leaving tomorrow but it’s going to be a big swing before I get back full time and with him moving we had to schedule for after the 4th. I’ll probably run down to Charleston for a day.
He’s still as sharpe as a tack when it comes to football. I had a blast catching up with him. We go waaaaay back. He’s a great guy.

Steele had FSU in the playoffs 2 years ago, they went 7-6!

Magazines? What is this, 2005? Who reads things on paper anymore? fricking boomers

I used to get Steele but got annoyed. Too difficult to read and I think a lot of the stats stuff is reaching a bit.
I get Lindseys and Atholon every year out of tradition to compile my 100 most anticipated games of the season list

Don’t get me wrong I loved buying these when I was a kid/teenager (born in ‘90), but are y’all for real still buying magazines?

You’re random font changes and intentional mistakes give me aids. Congrats.

Yeah, I don’t fit your preconceived notions, bro.

Kind of a personal tradition at this point for me. I usually keep at least one of them around each year for the cover like an SI collection.

I can’t believe people still buy magazines.

Phil Steele puts the most effort into his research. Very comprehensive and generally accurate analysis

Someone told me this week that Athlon no longer does an ACC magazine - Athlon hadn’t made money on an ACC magazine in 5 years so they dropped it. This is likely due to overall ACC apathy in football and also the impact of the internet.

Havent bought one since probably 07. No need anymore with all the free stuff online. Used to buy them all. I did buy the 2010 SI after we won the title.
