I don't think the SEC wants to move out of Atlanta because the ACC would move right in.

If they're going to rotate "neutral" cities, Jacksonville would work.

Jax or Nashville. Alt sucks balls.

You could have it in Oxfart, no chance of home field advantage there.

All these people saying the super dome are wrong.... why would you play the SEC Championship game in NOLA then turn around four weeks later and have the same team play the Sugar Bowl in the same stadium?

the GA Dome is perfect, IMO... weather isn't a factor and the location (relative to the region) is pretty good, unlike New Orleans.

I think ATL is fine, but when teams like bama, uga, auburn, etc are 4 hour drive or less is seems a little unfair.

Superdome? No way in Hades...

Jerry World would be a great venue, but damn its not an SEC state and its a LOOOOONG way from most of the schools...Nashville is a great city, but it needs a dome...

I say keep it in Atlanta...great city, great venue, somewhat centrally located.

I like the sound of Nashville. But they don't have a dome, so that could be collllllld. Shreveport in the western rotation! Holla!

Rotating between Atlanta, New Orleans, and Nashville would be awesome.

Although I'm not sure if Nashville really fits in on that list. Not a huge metro.

Dude, do you own a map? Dallas is 6 hours from the CLOSEST SEC school, and 17 hours from the farthest. You can't compare that to Atlanta.

Obviously Birmingham is the most centrally located city, but there is no decent venue there, or ANYTHING to do. Atlanta is most definitely the next best as far as average travel time, and is far and away the best venue for crap to do.

Let the representatives of each division flip a coin for home field advantage!

You're right, it won't...because its a terrible idea. The planning and preparation to put on a game like the SECCG is expensive and very involved. You can't have 3-4 cities preparing for the possibility that they might be hosting the game. Plus, the amount of tickets available and the travel plans for the fans would be in complete limbo until the final game of the season.

Its pretty clear to me that New Orleans is out because of the Sugar Bowl. If they want to give up the Sugar Bowl and let it go to Dallas, then they can be a contender for the SECCG.

Soon as I read the thread title, I thought Nashville. I think that'd be the perfect place for the game.

Right in the middle (east/west)
great city with a good scene for visiting
The weather will be good that time of year
Playing in the Titans stadium would be sweet right on the river
etc. etc.

weather in Nashville could be nasty the first weekend of December. I'm fine with it staying in the Georgia Dome and having weather never play a factor.
