really or are you just adding to that list? I think at this point it's still undecided but he's leaning closer to the Zook and Muschamp group than to the Spurrier and Meyer group

honesty I didn't know who the gators were until 1992. when I thought of football in florida it was Miami or FSU

But that's just it....There isn't really an interesting story there. Most of what makes an entity or a person interesting is their story and Florida doesn't really have a very interesting story. Most of the other schools in the conference are known for something: history, or curriculum, or famous alums with an affinity for the school. Aside from maybe Tim Tebow, there isn't anything especially noteworthy about the town, the university, the facilities, the history...nothing. The grads I've met are very smart and impressive enough I suppose, but there just isn't much to sink your emotional teeth into...not much of a story. UF is kind of the Ritz cracker of the SEC. A fine product, but not overly tasty or remarkable.

Honestly, this is actually a very good point--and begs the question: did the SEC's 1992 expansion somehow tilt the SEC's balance of power over to Florida? Before that time UF's athletic program was essentially non-existent while the entire conference's very being was united as one ginormous balance of universal harmony.
