Ive never hated Auburn. If you look up my posts Ive said all along that I would be pulling for Auburn to win it all. (Auburn already got screwed out of 1 MNC IMO)

I'm just pointing out HOW IT LOOKS......Im not sayin allegations are true.

I for one, will wait and see. Until more info comes out....I'm still pulling for Auburn.

If Cam or Auburn did anything wrong...The punishment should be severe and also should include the SEC pres. who has done a good job of side stepping all of this.

I think the NCAA is saying that the damage (if any) is already done and Auburn should reinstate him. The NCAA said to reinstate the 5 Alabama players involved in the textbook thing and then vacated the wins almost a year later. In fact, I had forgotten all about the textbook violations until it resurfaced. The NCAA hasn't let this go by a long shot, but I still don't believe that Auburn will recieve any real punishment other than vacated wins if all this happens to be true.

What has to be proven for Auburn to vacate their wins? Serious question.

At this point, I believe the only thing that needs to be proven is that Cam knew what his diddy was up to.

Auburn wouldn't catch much heat beyond that, unless it's for playing an ineligible player.

If, on the other hand, it's proven that there's a money trail... look out.

All I'm saying is that the NCAA is still going to be digging and if they find somehow that Cam knew anything about this through witnesses or other means, they may still vacate the wins. But as far as Auburn being aware of the situation. I don't believe they knew anything about the Miss. State thing, hence I don't think anything damaging to the future will effect your program.

Well, at least that would conveniently explain away the Alabama fans' "obsession" with this case over the last few days, but what about the month or so prior to the Iron Bowl, before we had to deal with getting our asses spanked?

Let me guess? Fear?

It couldn't have anything to do with being outraged at a perceived wrongdoing, could it? No, it's got to be fear, jealousy and butthurt over losing.

If Auburn fans don't care...then why do they continue to make these threads interesting by responding and getting worked up about them?

8.1) Cam's less than stellar character/integrity record at UF - which would naturally call his recounting of Camgate into question by reasonable people.

am not nor will I bring up paying a player because we have no proof of that but we know Auburn did cheat by knowingly playing an ineligible player and our crooked sec commissioner is not honest enough to enforce the rules that all of the coaches that hire on are forced to know and sign on to. Our rules are a farce

Right. Let's walk this thing through for a bit. Hmmm. Cam Newton leaves UF abruptly, deciding his football future there is...uncertain. It is later disclosed that he was facing expulsion for cheating. He decides to play JUCO for a year allowing his "options" to develop.

As luck would have it, his old QB coach from UF lands the head coaching job @ Mississippi State University. What a break for the patient Cam and his doting father! He will be reunited with a trusted coach and mentor.

But wait! What's this? Reverend Newton approaches the MSU (with appropriate fear and trembling) about getting money in return for his son signing with the Bulldogs!? To its credit the University says, "Pass." Meanwhile Cam is packing his bags and checking the bus schedule to Starkville, imagining how "cool" it will be to hook up with Coach Mullen again.

To Cam's initial horror and consternation, in walks dear ole Dad with the wonderful news that the Church of the Deliverance has been, well, delivered from financial purgatory! The bad news is that Cam will be going to 'Barner U where most of the books have not been colored in yet...

I mean, who knew? Not Cam, of course according to the NCdoubleA$$holes. Right.

Nimrod.
