Miss a bowl 5-7 IMO.

And that's including a win over State.

I am expecting 6 or 7 wins, so I will guess one of the Tennessee bowls, either Music City or Liberty.

Not going to a bowl would be a disappointment, and anything better than that would be a nice surprise.

Malzahn threw down the gauntlet at SEC Media Days. He did say he would "close the gap quick," between Bama and Auburn. History has proven that Auburn is a program that can be turned around quickly. I really think they can make the Chick-Fil-A bowl.

the one in birmingham

Shorter drive for players during winter break, and tickets will be easy to find.

I'd love to go to the Gator Bowl. I have famly in Jacksonville.

And for that reason, I'd rather go to the Gator than Chick-fil-A (even though it is one pick higher). Also, we've been to the dome a lot in recent years (2010 SECCG, 2011 Chick-fil-A Bowl, 2012 CFA Kickoff Classic).

That being said, after the debacle of 2012, I'd gladly take Shreveport or Birmingham over no bowl at all. Beale Street and Nashville could potentially be fun if we make one of the Tennessee bowls, albeit cold.

They catch a break by not having Vandy on the schedule. Auburn is the only SEC team with a over all losing record to the Dores.
