Aggies get one against Ole Miss. It would be something if we get two.

USC is busted up right now.
Mont is out for this weekend.
Tanner should be back, but he's missed 2 weeks.
Costen came back for the mid-week game, but has missed some time.
Christian is just now swinging the bat this week for the first time since week 1.
If we win 2/3, I'll be happy.

Not sure where the LULZ come from. We haven't taken a series from Auburn since '09. They've taken 4 of 6 since Mainieri got here. Strangely, we still lead the series 10-8 because we swept the two we won, and they've not swept us in their 4 wins.
It's fricking baffling, I'll say that much.

Ags can take one off of the Rebels, and I think they will (probably Saturday). Avoiding a sweep would be a success.

Yeah we're banged up but as you've mentioned they seem to be trickling back into the line up (just in time). The fact that its at home and Arkansas hasn't exactly been playing sharp baseball themselves gives me confidence.
Don't get me wrong they're more than capable of beating us but after their rough OOC losses on top of losing 2/3 to a really good OM team in Arky? I think we've got them at a good time.

Once upon a time in the not so distant past, Evan Beal was thought of more highly than Jordon Montgomery. This was just last season however.....Beal struggled with consistency towards the last half of 2012 and Montgomery rose ahead of him.
Monty has been lights-out mostly thus far this season (3-0, 0.95 ERA, 19 K, 7 BB), but Beal has as well (2-0, 0.56 ERA, 21 K, 3 BB). We'll have Beal for Fri. and Belcher (4-1, 1.25 ERA, 36 K, 1 BB) for Sat.
It's TBA for Sunday thus far, but after we used up Jack Wynkoop Tuesday versus The Citadel, I think we'll give Colby Holmes another shot to straighten out his season. Holmes has pitched much better at home versus on the road, and any success he could have could be enough of a confidence boost to get him back on the right track for the rest of 2013....

Costens been playing regularly.
English from what ive heard will not start friday but should have a bigger role thos weekend than last (threw a baseball for the first time on wednesday since the injury).
Saiko hasnt nearly re overed as well as expected so hes not starting friday.
And Ahmad swung with a bat for the first time since opening weekend.
Needless to say were defientely banged up atm.

I don't think you can count on Christian for anything more then a defensive replacement or pinch runner because he hasn't seen live pitching in weeks. Not having Monty back hurts, but maybe Holbrook can find some magic for Sunday or Holmes can regain his control. I'll be very happy with a series win with the state of our team injury wise. We are missing a lot of key cogs right now so as Ray Tanner always said "Win anyways".
