Georgia is Georgia…disciplined, tough, well coached, and don’t beat themselves.

This, Bama absolutely has made game to game improvement by all accounts. But, they have also been very lucky to get more than a couple key unforced miscues along the way. I think the D will create challenges that force UGA errors. I just don't think we'll see the bad timing drops, bad throws, missed kicks we have seen at critical times from some teams so far

Alabama’s d line needs to earn their money this game

I actually like what the DL and front 7 as a whole have been doing. Wommack's D is a struggle to watch between the 30s. But, it creates big play opportunity when it doesn't bust. And, it tightens up closer in the red zone.

I think it is the Bama OL that needs to earn their money. UgA will be very physical up front and try and pressure Russell. Need the run game to be there to keep the balanced attack that keeps this Bama O running.

I honestly don't know what to expect. Nothing would surprise me from blowout either way to an OT finish.

Cautiously optimistic like usual for the Georgia game. First real offense Georgia has played and first real defense Bama’s played.

I think UGA will play well because of the struggles in Tuscaloosa from before. They will be preaching about limiting mistakes all week. I think this is a good close game.

LSU is 9-10 in Tuscaloosa all time. Such domination, huh?

I can't wait for next year when Kiffin leads the Tigers to tie up the series there!

Well that tracks that was Saban's first year.

Overall even if UGA loses I don't see another L on the schedule so that means definitely headed to the 404 for the SECCG and locked into the CFP barring some wild catastrophe.

Alabama wins 45-34.

I already know Georgia fans are going to start claiming this and that about their defense. And hell, maybe they are right.

But Alabama has scored 41 on those defenses multiple times and this offense could easily be that. Not to mention KR has the ability to go mobile and that has the tendency to give Kirby trouble.

And I can see Georgia scoring more than they normally would. Our defense is good, but damn it feels bad when they are bending and sometimes it breaks or lets an explosive play get by.

Either way I will be surprised if it ends up being a defensive game with scores in the 20s. Won't be surprised if the winner scores 40+ whoever it is.

From a quick google search it’s showing that both Bama and UGA have 11 sacks on the season so it will definitely come down to which line can protect better. Stockton isn’t much of a dual threat but he can pick up some yards if needed. Keelon on the other hand will take one to the house if you lose contain.
Can’t see this game being a blow out either way.

It doesn’t matter. Both teams will make the playoffs as the SEC will get 3 teams in the playoffs. I expect Bama to win Saturday but I expect UGA to advance much further than Bama in the playoffs. This will be a fun game but like Texas-Ohio St it is just an appetizer for the playoffs.

If Georgia loses, it would require Bama losing 2 SEC games for them to be in the SEC championship IF Texas wins out and vice versa. Way too much can change in the next few weeks though.

I don't think Texas goes unscathed. Sure I would love to see 9-0 Texas vs 9-0 Bama but I just don't think it's haapnin. We are going to frick around play with our food and find out somewhere along the way.

I just looked at the schedule for Texas, and it appears to be a bit tougher than I predicted preseason. Florida and Missouri are now threats, but I think Texas will manage. Ole Miss and LSU will be big games.

The worst thing Georgia could do is drop into zone coverage a lot. Russell will either run or drop dime passes. Georgia's best hope is to pressure the young QB and crowd the line to stop the running.

Here is what really concerns me. Grubb has a tendency to not call great plays for QBs getting pressured. He will still be calling 20 yard routes while the QB is running for his life. Russell could scramble well or the running game might come to the rescue. Its Grubbs play-calling that is the wild card because even Bama fans never know which version of him we may see. He is a hero-ball special. And if there is no drama happening, he will find a way to create it. But he is doing better than last year at play-calling.

Russell has a knack for finding the WR deep and I think its going to take some deep completions this game because thats where the single coverage will be. But he'll be running a lot to find them.

I think if both of yall play to your capabilities, it will be the best game of the year.
On paper it should be.
I'm genuinely looking forward to watching it.

The trouble Texas has is their offense is less than the sum of the parts right now. They probably need to drop a game in the regular season so maybe a swift kick to the balls gets a few guys attention.
