This one isn't technically holding, bruh. I'm sure we held him on some other play, but this isn't going to get called. Ever.

That's just thumbing the shoulder pads and it's taught by every O-Line coach in America (or it should be)

You're wrong. Also, it was on the opening drive of a game Bama won 33-14. They were up 27-7 at the half. Do you really think it made a difference in the game?

AND, you can see that the yellow line in your images is ahead of the 1st down marker. He reached the marker.

Damn you LSU fans grab hope against Bama in any place imaginable.

The Stoerner Stumble.

We all know the ground cannot force a fumble.

nope, no one said that

obviously the yellow line is ahead of the marker, and obviously that's completely irrelevant.
The spot was shy of the marker, the ball was moved to the marker, both of which were behind the yellow line

damn Bama fans will convince themselves of anything to defend themselves...
It's ok, you would have won, was just messed up officiating in an irrelevant game. But it absolutely was messed up officiating in an irrelevant game

You realize this entire thread is about bad calls. this was a bad call. Teams that played against LSU have had many also, your interference play in the endzone included

It's not holding until the guy is clearly past you. That is most definitely holding at every level of football.

Everyone posting in here is a little bitch. That goes doubly for me.

Can't argue with you there. I guess that's why most people are still in this thread at this point, to defend their team or defend a call being wrong. I know the later is why I'm still here

I haven't defended any claims against LSU as false, if someone got screwed against us the got screwed.

I will argue with people claiming a call really wasn't wrong because it benefited them. And admit I am being a little bitchy in doing so.

Should have made up an SEC team just to hear all the explanations on why it was actually a first down.
Angles, interpretations of rule books, shadows, size of refs arm holding the sticks vs the one holding the ball in relation to distances, game wasn't close... Would have been fun

That angle is a little tricky though but definitely doesn't look like a 1st

You keep using this word, but I don't think it means what you think it means.

I always think of LSU @ Auburn in 06 because it was such a great game marred by some terrible officiating.

Can't find the video, but a LSU player blatantly pass interefered a Bama player in the end zone in 04 right in front of the ref and the douche didn't throw a flag. Very well may have changed the outcome of the game.

REC doing work for Saban even before he became the Bama coach.

Does anybody here remember the end of the 1995 Iron Bowl?? Freddie to Curtis Brown in the end zone for the win... Clear possession by Curtis, but waived off by the Auburn ref...

Not an all SEC game, but how about Arky-Bama 95'
7:45 mark.
