You said "skill players" bro which also includes QB's and RB's and at the time Felipe Frank's was your projected starting QB and Fromm was coming off a top 5 QBR and was a projected 1st Rd pick along with Swift at RB.
I projected Franks to take a leap this year. We got a leap, just not from Franks.
I said Fromm would struggle with young inexperienced WRs.
Swift didn’t put up great numbers against SEC competition either.
What was I wrong about?

Why do you think stokes is leaving?
Our secondary talent level is much higher than our wr talent level was, so even if he did, it’s not similar.
And your take on our pass rush was way off.

Only 1 sec rb did better in the sec and he had the advantage of burrow.

why didn't you list our secondary for 2020 as a comparison?

But why? Do the 2019 one since that’s what you are comparing the 2020 dB group to.

What does listing that prove?
Define what “much higher” even means. That’s more talent at a position than just about any other D1 school.

What does listing the 2020 wr star ratings prove in regards to 2019? Nothing at all.

idk, I'm not the one you're arguing with or that made those claims. It just seems a bit odd that you would compare our talent at 2 groups by not only excludign 1 group in your data, but also using metrics for some guys that literally aren't even on campus yet.

Not having to play Alabama in the regular season so they can get back to the SECCG and we all hear how awesome Georgia is.

the talent and experience leaving? If LeCounte and Stokes both leave?
Yes.
Now that they are staying, I guess you are going to reevaluate your claim.

You guys said the same damn thing about WR this year
If Holloman didn't get kicked by off and Cager wasn't hurt half the year we woulda been solid at the position.
3 others also missed parts or all of the season.(Jackson,Blount and Bush)

Welp neither is leaving so looks like we good in the secondary.

I don't recall you saying Fromm would struggle.

What? Swift's game logs And he was still better than any RB UF had and our RB's put up better numbers
than UF's
So you were wrong on 2 outta 3

I know it's hard to remember, but mizzouri actually is in the sec

Fromm played well in the 2018 SECC vs Bama. He looked bad in 2019, not 2018. He’s not the kind of QB who can look good when his top 5 targets all leave At the same time. Our top returning WR/TE in 2019 had 7 catches in 2018
We saw glimpses of bad Fromm in 2018 also. LSU game comes to mind immediately but there were others.....the difference in my opinion is Justin Fields was present and the knowledge that he had to perform or lose his spot brought out the best in him...he didn't have that this season and won't have it most likely next season if he stays. Fromm has the tools and has proven in VERY big games to rise to the occasion....he just isn't driven to do so in every game.
We saw Burrow do just that....rise to the occasion in every game....most likely due to his experience at Ohio State and his inability, for whatever reason, to be the starter there....he came out meaning to prove his ability, probably to himself as much as anyone, and had the best season ever for a QB in the SEC. It takes internal motivation to accomplish what Burrow has done this season....any QB capable of starting at that level in the SEC has the tools to be incredibly good...it takes a commitment from inside ones own mind to do so....and Fromm seems to lack that commitment. In big games he can do it but it takes every game to win a natty....can't even take a play off, let alone an entire game.
