where is the evidence of this and, if that's true, can't you understand now why they did? he was FOS and if he lied about the other stuff, it makes you wonder how much of the "it isn't that bad and i didn't know" is true when it comes to the investigation.
One of the investigators proclaimed on facebook how much he disliked Oxford and Ole Miss (he was on FB talking about how much hated the confederate flag or some shite). I also remember a leaked text message where he (or another investigator) was talking to a friend saying that the NCAA were going to get Freeze or the fans are going to turn on him. This may have been leaked on Walter Byerz (anti NCAA mouthpiece) Twitter.

doesn't make me wonder. i think it furthers the ncaa point that ole miss did lack control and had a failure to monitor.
Good for you

Yeah UNC actually has an argument since they found a loophole. You don't and did not.

Do you believe that or wishful thinking?

Just to be clear, we can still do that, right? They are, after all, MSU Posters.

Hunter Henry, Dan Skipper, Alex Collins, and Brandon Allen shut that down.

Being made to play an SEC schedule when you can't field an NAIA level team?

Having a witness lie about free product from Rebel Rags to implicate Ole Miss on an infraction is in fact a loophole.

The best part of that video is when the Mexican dude is laughing about Ole Miss frat boys waving Confederate flags in the stands and then says "you guys have never even been to an SEC Championship game and you expect to get away with this?"
I've watched that video like two dozen times. It's so damn funny.

In fact Ole Miss invited the investigators back after all the hoopla on draft night. Invited them back with open arms.
Yep, except they didn't do any of that. The AD bitched and moaned about it.
You realize that the NCAA had been essentially been anal-probing Ole Miss since 2013, right?
I'd be frustrated too if my department had to deal with 3 years of bureaucratic NCAA BS, (where the NCAA found minimal stuff on the 2013 class) and then have them come back and reopen everything

In fact, Ross Bjork/Ole Miss didn't start "bitching" until the NCAA started doing the immunity shite and not telling them about it. Everyone has their breaking point. Up until then, Ole Miss had performed their part to provide "exemplary cooperation".

I've literally seen this nowhere other than here. Sounds like OM fans clinging to hope here. If this was true, OM would have mentioned said investigator FB posts and leaked text messages in their response to NOA (and if not mentioned by OM they'd have absolutely provided this info to their propaganda local media and have them run with it). Either way, it wouldn't be something that people didn't know about.

Ole Miss doesn't think the 2nd NOA is 100% valid and a planning to present their case @ the COI hearing
every school presents their case. I just think most unbiased observers would say the mountain of evidence continually piling up (and rumors of more to follow) indicating OM didn't really have a tight ship would seem to point towards harsher penalties. Your admin hung their hat on "Freeze couldn't possibly have been part of this b/c he has such high character and integrity" and then you fired him for lacking those things.

Fair enough.
IMO, the most embarrassing thing about this entire saga are the Ole Miss 'sources'. Anybody who has contributed a single cent to any of those clowns is getting fleeced.

B/c it's fun to talk about - but in reality it probably won't be that bad. If you followed this board during "as the plains burn", you'd have thought Auburn would be bulldozed to the ground
True. But the deal with Auburn never got to the stage of two NOAs from the NCAA with the number of violations. The Ole Miss group got cocky and went overboard on the recruiting violations and simply got caught.

I see where he says his aversion to the confederate flag, but he is black...

The escorts for recruits and gambling is ATPB level, the other isnt as they never got a NOA.

I hope Ole Miss gets off with a slap of the wrist, but that is not looking likely. Ole Miss' crime is that they gained a huge recruiting advantage from their actions. They jumped the shark.
Since the possibility emerged that Freeze and the Rebels might sign a recruiting haul that included Rivals.com's top-ranked receiver (Laquon Treadwell), top-ranked offensive lineman (Laremy Tunsil) and top-ranked overall player (defensive end Robert Nkemdiche), one question has nagged Freeze. Not even the question, truly, but the way everyone outside Oxford automatically fills in the answer without even considering another possibility.
How are they doing that?
