Cincy can win if Bama doesn't play to their capability

If Bama loses, it's only Bama that loses... over and over again until next season. And, then it may go beyond

Drumbeat all season for Cincy. Drumbeat for Group of Six getting into the playoffs. Seems like the media/committee wanted to make a point.

My point: Cincy's SOS was lightweight. One game: Notre Dame. Bama played its usual SEC schedule and won out.

Bama has played mucho playoff games. Saban will have had a month to prepare. I would be shocked if Cincy won.

It would be pretty funny that AU couldn’t beat a team that lost to a g5 school

Hell, AU was a breath away from losing to Georgia State with a much healthier team than the one that took you guys to 4 OT. It's not like we were a good team this year.

Saban wont let the beatdowns he took in 2014 from O$U

The 7 point beatdown when Bama had the ball at the end with a chance to tie? That beatdown? Is it similar to the beatdown LSU put on Bama in 2019? You know, the 5 point beatdown.

I think some of y'all don't know what a beatdown is.

Most likely outcome if Cincy wins? A Michigan national championship.

I once saw AU beat the eventual NC and then proceed to lose to a G5 team

shite happens. It's a game. Sometimes it gets away from you. Especially if you aren't prepared and they want it more.

Y'all are giving the OP a lot of crap, but you know he is right. The media will be all over it. Bama is not as strong as it has been and Florida sux this year, too. If both lose, the tide in the media will change for the negative related to the SEC. Some of y'all act like you won't care, but you will when you start hearing a lot of pent up BS from the Danny Kanell types in the media. Right now, you are enjoying SEC favor and have for so long, you've forgotten what it was like before.

If a 7 point win is a beating, what do you call a 52-24 win? Things haven't been great for OSU since that year. They pussied out on a rematch the following season by losing to Michigan State with the same team, and didn't bother to show up for the actual rematch last January, either. Now you're getting your asses kicked by the Oregons and Michigans of the world, so I doubt Ohio State will be playing the Tide again any time soon.

The only fan base who has any reason to complain about the ramifications of a Cincinnati win over Bama is Kentucky. None of the rest of you live near or deal with them, or Ohio State fans for that matter.

We serve as the insular border buffer betwixt South and North. Please do your best Bama so as to ease our burden from the heathen Northern hordes.
