What a story already being written by A&M

- Get tired of having Texas bully around Big 12 so they say "frick it" and leave
- First year in SEC barely lose to Florida & LSU but win the rest so far including @ #1 team in country from SEC
If I am a UT or OU leaning recruit right now I'm 100% re-considering some things after watching all this unfold.
I personally love anything that fricks over Texas. If I am a Longhorn fan with any intelligence I am very concerned right now.

I don't think anyone saw this coming for sure. Of course I don't think anyone saw little white mini-Cam coming either.

Go to their messageboard and see how much credit they're giving us. They are delusional arrogant sissies whistling by the graveyard. They don't know the horrors of an A&M decade (like the 80's and 90's

No one saw it coming including A&M fans.
Texas getting blasted by good ole Karma right now. And I fricking love it.

Sat next to a Texas fan tonight rooting for AtM. Wounds are still open from the last bama game for him...is the only thing I could think of to explain this. But at the same time, doesn't AtM bring a little credit to Big12 since they are only a year removed?? I'm sure for recruiting Texas will be concerned.

Couldn't have scripted it much better so far. It will be interesting to see how the momentum carries into recruiting in the state of Texas

No doubt, if there is a silver lining tonight, it is how shitty Texas feels right now. They get a chance at #1 Bama and get thumped, while Texas A&M beats #1 Bama on the road.

Hoping you're right Tiger!
It's funny that the rest of the nation is starting to realize how egomaniacal and narcissistic the cheese and wine many in the crowd in Austin are. They are insufferable.

Yeah a&m is really making the most of their time, they don't look like Texas' little brother at all. I work with some TU grad's and they are worried, although they wont say it.
They try to use A&M as an example for why the SEC is over-rated. That argument doesn't work when you apply Mizzou. I think A&M could beat any team in the Big 12 this year, this is a totally different team than past a&m teams.

I'm in sales and would LOVE the opportunity to recruit for A&M right now.
"Hey Mr. Recruit. Come play for the best up and coming coach in the country, in your home state, that also happens to be in the NFL minor league known as the SEC."
I means that's just too easy...

A&M wasn't a bad team last year, they just kept shooting themselves in the foot and losing big leads. They could have just as easily been 11-1 as they were 6-6. 5 of those 6 losses were with double digit leads in the second half. There are two big differences now: one is Coach Sumlin. I like Coach Sherman, but he's an NFL coach all the way, not a college one. The other is the obvious one: Johnny Football.

Next year will be huge for us. If we can build on this season and win at least another 9 or 10 games we can start stacking some good classes and building serious depth. We can't fall back to 7 or 8 wins. For the first time in a while I have total confidence in our coach and program to keep things rolling.

I want to tell them they are doing great, but I'm worried they will let it go to their head

You guys better open the checkbook to keep Sumlin in town. Cannot have him leaving...
