UT has 2 5-stars on their roster. LSU has 5. That's not a huge difference. Oregon has 5 as well.

No one recruits defense anymore because you hire former QBs/ offensive minded coaches that want to do what every other new coach does, and what the Pirate has done for 30 years.
Then they basically go on Ziprecruiter to find defensive coaches -like Willie Martinez- because the Willies are they only ones who will take whatever job they can get, despite being an afterthought in the game plans.
What Defensive coach worth a shite would want to be put behind the 8 ball of an offense that averages 23+/- mins TOP a game? Its a dead end, basically resume killing proposition
