Went to Morgantown in 2011 for LSU game. WV fans make the worst SEC fanbase look like Sunday children’s choir. The Deliverance is an autobiographical account of WV fans weekend.

Funny how people don’t realize that the majority of Tennessee and Kentucky are not in the hills.
Hint: those thoroughbred horses don’t live in the hills. KY has the most beef cattle of any state east of the Mississippi .
As to Georgia, Alabama and Arkansas you too have hillbillies. It is actually a good thing. They are God fearing, gun toting patriots.

No one hated him, just wanted a guy who could get us to a higher level and felt he wasn't gonna be able to do it. There's still a great reverence for him in Athens. I don't think it's comparable at all. Seemed to be a real disdain for the man at UK the last two seasons.

A lot of fans seemed to not speak well of him. Maybe the vocal minority, but seemed much more harsh than the Dawgs that wanted Richt to leave.

It was time for him to move on, and he did. He is a beloved coach by this fanbase. No one here hates Mark Stoops. Maybe his clock management and two minute drills, but he is beloved by this community and fan base. It was simply just time.

WVU folks are just fine - most stupid thing I’ve seen out of them is saying “Eat shite Pitt” over and over and over - their cheer is “Let’s Go!” - boy that’ll get you fired up!
