Not even sure it’ll start at this point.
It’s laughable the things we are coming up with as precautions. I’ve heard stuff like making the players box stretch from 10 to 10 instead of 25 to 25, as if spacing out players who are blocking and tackling each other in practice every day makes a bit of damn sense.

Yes we never should have shut down it is IMPOSSIBLE to stop the spread of a a droplet virus. We’d have been better off having most healthy people exposed to develop antibodies.

A fan limitation is likely. The chances of football not happening is about as close to zero as possible. It’s almost like some of you do not actually keep up with what is actually going on and repeat whatever some clueless idiot tells you. Do you guys really think the people in charge were not expecting football players to test positive for this virus? The players are fine. Most aren’t even showing symptoms and the ones who are have been mild. Zero hospitalizations. It’s unbelievable how uninformed some of you seem to be
Let's think about the issues that arise when a team has a few players test positive during the season. Once a player tests positive, those players will probably be out and quarantined for two weeks even if they are asymptomatic. There will be other many other players, coaches, staff, trainers, etc. that will have been exposed to coronavirus. Many of those will end up getting it and will also have to sit out and be quarantined. The issue will likely continue to compound from there until teams may have larger and larger groups of players, coaches, staff, etc. who can't be at games for two weeks.

Yep, I agree this is what is probably going to happen.

No games will be played but the Gumps will hang a 2020 banner and claim their 27th national championship
