Maybe you are fooled by an illusion. A small horse with a shorter stride looks faster than a big horse until it runs past him. The times tell the tale.

Watch the first two plays of this video (around 1:30) and say Bo Jackson didn't have "football speed". Where are the folks running stride for stride?

Or the play at the 2:08 mark. Bo Jackson didn't have football speed.

You obviously never played Tecmo Super Bowl and used Bo Jackson.

"But it didn't translate to the football field"

Your brain doesn't have a wrinkle in sight. I sincerely hope you're trolling. Can't imagine how difficult every day life is for you if this isn't a troll.

Deion will be the first guy to admit in how bad a place he was on that play. He loves that story.

“Bo put his hand on my helmet and prayed for me”.

I think that's one of the best parts of this dummy's post, there is literally video on the Internet of Deion having the angle on Bo and barely catching him while being drug into the end zone. Play at around 30 seconds on the clip below:

Bo versus Deion

I watched Bo play at the old Box. He would hit it and get to first base in 3-4 steps. Unreal

I played against both of them. Both ridiculously fast for how big they were. I’d watch them run track as well. They both had elite track speed. Someone mentioned Hershel running the 60 and it was power personified. Bo did have a habit of pulling up grabbing his hammy if he was getting smoked though. Nothing was hurt but his pride. Haha. There were a lot of incredible sprinters back in the day.

I don’t see how anyone could think either guy was not fast. Especially on the football field where they both wore oversized shoulder pads. Ridiculous take.

I think it's good that retarded people like you get to use computers, but you should stick to posting about what you made with play dough today.

I was at an LSU basketball game in the early 80's and it got around that Bo Jackson was next door at the fieldhouse running in an indoor track meet. When I say "got around", at least 2-3K people from basketball game were in the place waiting on the 60M dash.

Jackson had at least 50 lbs on every other runner. He literally looked like he had been chiseled by an artist. In his heat, he pulled up at 50M with a 5M lead and coasted to a win. There was a wait for the finals and most fans left. We moved down to a few feet off of the finish line. In the finals, when he blew thru the tape, there was a noise like a slip stream. He won by a full stride.

As for Herschel Walker, this is from the 1981 NCAA 100M finals. That's him on the right running stride for stride with the fastest man in the world

That’s why i always said, Bo was fast, Herschel was faster.

He proved it.

You should look at clips of Matt Jones running. He wasn't as fast as Bo and Hershel, but a guy that big in motion appears slow even when he's booking it.

Get a Nintendo.
Buy 1990 Tecmo Bowl.
Play Oakland Raiders.
Bo was the "cheat mode."

Film doesn't lie. You don't need a stopwatch to watch Bo Jackson run away from defenses. This brings me to Derrick Henry, the 240 lbs. brut with the jackhammer stiff arm continues to just stride away from the fastest DBs in the NFL after 10 years in the league. If you don't stop him when he gets to the LBer level, you won't. Amazing athletes to be so big, so strong, and then can just find another gear and be gone. Every once in a generation we just see different and it's too easy and common to take different for granted. LeBron James, Tiger Woods, Derrick Henry, and Bo Jackson, are some of the best of the elite of the elite to ever do it. Pay close attention, they won't be this way again.
