He and Kiffin have settled the rivalry down so much. And for that I am grateful and thankful. Obviously we will always compete hard against each other but I hope this will carry forward with the fans.
It is in both of our interests to be both good in all sports and academics.

Thank you for your gesture. Just going to miss him so much. But I am thankful to God he was our Coach for three seasons.

Damn straight. As weird as it may sound, I’m glad State beat us in the Egg Bowl so he could go out with a W

I also feel this way. I remember being pissed and then seeing Leach on the television and thinking “at least Mike Leach won.”

That’s what kind of man he was. For me to feel that, even at that moment, is a testament to what kind of man Leach was.

Personally, I will very much miss him. This is very sad.

Not weird to me. This has been the least toxic our rivalry has ever been that I can recall. It's because of our two coaches. I'd probably feel the same if the other way around.

Just sucks all around on the loss of Leach.

To the Pirate Captain and more importantly, a great all around good man that made us laugh and teach us all some good life lessons.

I'm sorry to State. Y'all had a great one and the SEC and college football as a whole was better with him. He'll be sorely missed but he leaves some great memories for all fans and people that he impacted.

HailState!

Now go beat the hell out of Illinois for him! We'll be cheering y'all on!

Just watched the "fake offensive playbook" they did at OU vs. Texas when we was OC. Classic stuff.

The Cotton Bowl Caper

College football has lost one of the ones that makes college football fun. He was an innovator and a helluva coach as well.

Very classy post. The reb fans have been really great. Watched Lane Kiffin discussing Leach's passing and you could tell they were really close.
