So, in your mind, a player has to go undefeated and never have team that figures out how to deal with him before he is deemed remarkable?
He still holds the single season record for total offense (as a freshman), set in 13 games versus an era where 15 is not even the maximum anymore.
You can claim valid credit for LSU shutting him down, but that season was like nothing the SEC has ever seen. (And 2013 wasn’t that far behind.)
Insisting otherwise just makes you look silly.

I’ve posted it repeatedly. For all the bravado and shite talk LSU fans post, it’s easily the most thin-skinned fan base in the conference.

He was a remarkable college qb. I would have loved to have him on LSU.
He seems like a douche off the field who threw his career away, but that’s not what this thread is about.
He earned every bit of accolade he got and he also earned all the criticism. His ability to scramble and improvise was amazing.
