Because if the SEC plays and the Big10 doesn't, a lot of players will transfer and immediately play. We can all thank Hugh Freeze for this.

If it was to happen, Bama, LSU and Georgia would get the blue chips. The rest would get ... the rest. Regulars at places like Ole Miss, Arkansas, Miss State fricked and moving back home with mamma and probably gettin the coviz if what Saban says is true.

The NCAA isn't going to let Michigan and Michigan State get raped and pillaged...especially Michigan. Look for the NCAA to issue some kind of temporary edict to prevent it. The NCAA turned on the transfer portal; they can shut it down any time..certainly until this crisis is over.
I'm not saying they should. I'm just saying the NCAA won't allow the wholesale plundering of teams by the SEC. We and the ACC are only 26 out of 128.
