You clearly don’t know anything about the hill country
Texans talking hill smack on a SEC board
Ozarks in AR and MO
Appalachians in KY, TN, AL, GA, and SC
Pretty sure there are no hill folk in TX

This is how I know you're an Aggy. They always start with absurd threads proclaiming UT's impending dominance of the SEC, then they start with the liberal comments, then the gay comments.

Austin suburbs are cool. Austin itself was cool 20 years ago

Of all the maps you could’ve chosen for the Hill Country, you chose one focused on aquifer recharge zones.

Out of all the pics of lake Travis, you use that one? And when I point it out you say I’m making a liberal comment? Wtf

Also, please show me where I’ve proclaimed Texas dominance. Hell, give me An example of something I’ve posted that you’re in profound disagreement of.

Blacks sucks. Now, Saltlick isn’t the best ever, but they do(at least used to) all you can eat. And, yes, I’m fat.

Salt lick is for tourists. Locals don't like it.

Once you join the SEC you will be UTA. Just get used to it.

Hmm...
Highest elevations:
Texas: 8749 ft
Arkansas: 2753 ft
Missouri: 1772 ft
Now it is true that Arkansas and Missouri have hillbillies. The ones out in West Texas are more "Hills Have Eyes" types with some Marfa Lights thrown in.

Austin, the city full of people even Californians couldn’t stand, so they shipped them to Austin.

Lived in Dallas. San Antonio, Austin, and now in the "Gateway to the Hill Country" in Dripping Springs, west of Austin.
Austin was cool 20+ years ago. Now nothing but a tourist trap, lost its "weird" vibe, and too many homeless. Dallas is a concrete capital along side with Houston. Austin is becoming Dallas & Houston.
San Antonio has less outdoor appeal but is a far cooler town nowadays.
All the Californians now own half of Austin. I avoid it like the plague. Again great city 20 years ago but now overrun with lots of liberals and imports from out of state. You can thank Tesla, Amazon, Google, etc for Austin losing its soul.
Hill country is not Austin. It starts west of Austin. Duh. You could argue far west Austin but UT and downtown Austin is flat. Quit lying to urself. I speak the unbiased truth.
And yes, College Station is not anything to write home about. Does have an amazing big time college town feel to it as half the population is related to the University in some way. In 1994, I prferred to spend my weekends in Austin w my horn pals. Nowadays, I would only head to Austin very sparingly.

Most over-rated city I have been too in my life. My Brother in law went to UT and raved at how awesome Austin was and I just didn't see it. To be fair I was there for 2 days ,but I have been other places for 2-3 days and had a better time.

Nah, San Antonio is way better. Real Mexican food, sexy Latinas, and they don’t have to create fake culture by importing bums and pretending it’s hip.

I live in Alabama now for a reason.
You know Texas is a big state, right? No need to go 3 states over to escape the commies in Austin. Just about anywhere outside of the major cities would suffice.
