LSU is 43rd in KenPom. We're not good, but we're not terrible either.

I can relate. When LSU baseball even struggles a little bit, we get antsy.

We're the most balanced, top to bottom, but I don't see any of the teams making it further than the Elite Eight without some luck. None of us are just fully dominating teams.
Alabama when healthy is scary against non-ranked foes, but as much as I love my team I have a hard time seeing them past the Sweet 16 without some luck (either through bracketology or just getting hot at the right time). We'll have to seriously outscore everyone to go deep into the tournament.

Florida was an 11.5 point favorite last year and won by 1 point. You guys had a shot at the buzzer to win it. UF was also an 11.5 point favorite to beat Auburn on Saturday.
So save that shite, because I ain't hearing it!

In all seriousness, I think all 4 of these games could be really good. I know UF is a clear favorite, but South Carolina always seems to give us trouble. Even many of our best teams have struggled against Cocky, and Frank Martin owned Mike White.
I don't miss Frank Martin, man that guy was old school.

Kenpom values close losses about the same as close wins. They undervalue a teams ability to close out a game and punish you for giving a half arse effort against a weak opponent.

It's a shame that 3 of the 4 are on at the same time.

How do you say that? You’re about to lose Bediako. Even with him, this isn’t a certainty.
