Agree with all of that, but I think in their mind having the "strong executive" was sort of a prerequisite to any of that being resolved authoritatively.

LSU never defied the conference rules. You guys are just dumb and you lack the intelligence to understand this. Sankey didn't get LSU to do anything because they were always abiding by the rules, lol. Now, the SEC has opened itself up to major lawsuits from the players and from the State of Louisiana. The good thing that came from all of this is that LSU is more than likely considering leaving this libtard conference after this year. That takes 800 mil to 1 bil of money that goes into the conference pool. This statistic is from a few articles posted by yahoo and a couple other news sources. Imagine what lsu could build with that kind of money.

Here's your friendly reminder that multiple other SEC teams have pro players rostered in both football and basketball while LSU has none, yet LSU was the target.

The SEC could have put in amicus briefs like they did in the Bediako, Pavia, and Chambliss cases. Instead, the SEC created rules that left the athlete plaintiffs no choice but to draw the SEC into their case.
Dumb, dumb, dumb decision by the SEC to do that. It will likely cost the SEC a lot of money.
That's on Sankey.
