Pretty funny that people like to spout this without mentioning what they contend Bama does have.
According to College Football Data Warehouse they recognize a total of 13 and Bama also claims 1941 which was awarded by Houglate for a total of 14.
14 is still much lower than the total of NC awarded by all major selectors to Bama (18).

In 1966, after coming off of back to back national titles (chasing a 3rd), we went undefeated AGAIN and got screwed out of a national championship when #1 and #2 (Notre Dame and Michigan State) played for a tie to end their season - leaving Bama #3.
Got screwed again in 1977.

I wish you could show me the quote where I said "we don't claim bullshite titles and you should be glad we only claim the bullshite ones we do" because you are full of bullshite and apparently don't have the attention span to be able to read an entire post.
I said that Alabama claims the 1941 title that was awarded by Houlgate in addition to the 13 that are recognized by CFDW. At no time did I say that I considered that to be bullshite but rather stated that if you or someone else doesn't agree that you should probably provide an explanation.
Short of that all you are doing is whining and bitching.

I can't remember who the guy was, but didn't the writer of some book that started the whole 12 claim, finally admit he was the reason bama started claiming 12 sometime in the 80's?
