It is funny you said that as it mirrors a feeling I've developed about TAMU in the few days.
The feeling I have developed is a sense of sadness for TAMU. I pulled for them to win the CWS, yet deep down I KNEW they were going to lose the final, even after they won the first game. I hate to say it, but failure in the big moments seem to be fated for TAMU. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride. I don't know what it is, Aggie teams generally fight very hard.
I certainly don't hate TAMU. Aggies are generally very nice people.

Some programs have what it takes to win in big games. Some don't have it and never will. It is hard to explain.
