That was on Sam and not the kicker. That was a winnable game that has changed the trajectory of the season.

Nolan instilled killer instinct into the DNA of the program and Mussellman has it as well. Not other sport has had it other than the track program under McDonnell.

DVH will win one sooner than later because of the top level recruiting each year. In basketball Muss can win it all as well.
Football drags arse because it has neglected itself too long that it is questionable if Arkansas can break the terrible reputation of being a loser football program. After watching this game, it doesn't help that problem.
Sam will do just good enough to go bowling each year until someone better can take it to another level.

Exactly. It's college football. Not NFL. There are like, 2-3 truly great teams in any given season. Everyone else is some level of flawed.
Minimize your own mistakes. Capitalize on the other team's mistakes. And hope a couple of the inevitable wierd things that happen in the game bounce in your favor over the course of the season. That's pretty much what separates most 7 win teams from most 10 win teams at this level.
