Quite frankly, I think Ensminger did a good job, but the offense just didn't click sometimes. I'm sure a lot of folks think Ensminger needs to go, though.

Ensminger signed a 2 year deal and Jerry Sullivan a 1 year deal. I think both sides always saw it as a move in the right direction and a temporary patch. Ensminger didn't want the job, but he took it after some convincing. I don't think he signs up for an extension. I think next year we bring in a Co-OC/WR coach who then becomes the full-time OC the following year. I think Coach O wants a guy to learn what O wants to do under Ensminger, but maybe with a more modern take on it (Kliff Kingsbury? Fedora?...

I still think this offense is a good offense with a better O-Line and more dynamic runners (John Emery come on down).

Jimbo is a good coach but he’s not Saban or close to it. Penciling them in 2nd forever is myopic.

Alabama 12-0, 8-0-Bama will be better next year. More experienced on defense and almost all skill players return

Texas A&M 9-3, 5-3- Improving Y2 with Jimbo

Au 9-3 5-3 they will be better as they will not have the expectations.

LSU 8-4, Bama, TAMU, UF +1 Au or MSST (Aranda leaves this offseason and Steve E stays)
.
MSU 7-5, -seems right. They lose a lot off of the defense.

IDK on these 2

Arkansas 5-7, 2-6-The Chad Morris rebuild truly begins.
Ole Miss 2-10, 0-8-Luke

3 cupcakes
Kansas State who won like 5 games this year
Kentucky who loses a lot
Tennessee
Arkansas
Ole Miss

That’s 8 likely wins if you assume we don’t beat LSU in starkville or A&M/Auburn.

At worst we go 7-5. We have recruited well on defense anc will have a QB that fits Moorhead’s system

Hopes and wants

You’re also picking us to lose up to 3 games in BR despite 17+ starters coming back and a top 5 or 6 recruiting class

I didn't say that. I meant that the Fisher-coached A&M will be a more difficult team to overcome on a yearly basis than the Sumlin-coached A&M.

2. My predicted finish

Way too early to tell. When I look at it, any of the teams in the middle could swap places but at the end of the day, Bama will still likely be the program to finish on top. It will be interesting to see if LSU, ATM or MSU can challenge. I still think those 3 programs have a way to go but LSU is likely closer than either my Bullies or ATM.

State doesn't lose 9. It's probably like 7. All of our linebackers are coming back with 2 returning dbs. The starting d-line will be gone but we are 8 deep in that position. It's more of who State loses than the number. It's going to be hard to replace Simmons and Sweat. The defense is still going to be good next year but not as dominate
