Clemson won't be in the championship game. No way they replace that defense after one year.

You replace that defense with a Peyton Manning level prodigy at QB who isn't a true freshman anymore. Also their schedule is so shitty that no one is going to beat them unless they lose in the semifinal. They are a near lock for undefeated going into the playoff.

Those are certainly dark horses all right.
You're hanging your hopes on a list put out by a kid who looks like a middle schooler. I'm sure he's a great football mind, but dang. What a list.

Taggart won't get a 3rd season. They'll lose their opener to Boise and his seat will get really, really toasty.

LSU, Auburn I can see. If Utah and Michigan State return a bunch of players maybe. FSU at least has talent at several positions outside of OL.

South Carolina will be lucky to win 8 games this year, much less come close to competing for a national championship. They are at best the 7th most talented team in the SEC. LOL at dark horse UofSC talk.

I would love to see a top 10 ranked UofSC team at the end of the year playing Clemson, but I won't count on it.

After what your team has done, and who your team returns, you shouldn't be worried about any home game.

..... but drew is on drugs. I mean I guess, maybe, if we were to somehow navigate through our schedule with only one loss and make it to Atlanta and then win that game, which would probably mean having to beat Bama twice ... yeah, he’s on drugs.

Can we beat Bama at our place? Yes. Can we beat Georgia at their place? Yes but it will be our toughest game of the season. Can we beat Clemson at our place? Yes, and we probably will this year.

But honestly, no team in the country playing our schedule and then having to play in Atlanta just to make it to the CFP .... no team with that challenge would be picked to survive that. Not Bama, not Clemson, not Georgia and, surprisingly, he doesn’t have A&M listed when they play an equally tough schedule IMHO.

Doesn’t make sense.

Clemson is pretty much a lock with the easy path they have. Alabama and Oklahoma are the likely opponent. Georgia and Ohio State probably have a punchers chance but I kind of doubt either one gets that far.
